First, no printed instructions in the box. I had to cycle from computer to garage and back numerous times. Next: I spent over an hour trying to install in vehicle (Honda CRV); when I finally got it in, it looked little like your photo of finished project. I recommend at least 2 adults tackle this project; I had many bruises trying to snug the straps, not to mention a high level of frustration! There was nothing below the front seats to run/attach the black strings to hold in place. It does not look secure to me; I expect my dog (B.C.-Cattle dog mix) can work her way underneath the mesh at bottom, probably in about 3 minutes.
Hi, and thanks very much for your feedback. First let me apologize for the missing instructions - this should not have happened. There should have been a white sheet in the package with complete assembly and installation instructions. These are also located on the product page, along with a video that illustrates how to put the dog barrier on the front seat backs. In terms of where to tie down the bottom cord attachments, most vehicles have a metal rail system that the front seats track on to move them forward and back. This is what we use to tie down the barrier, as you can see in the video on the product page. All of that said, we guarantee our products 100%, and want to insure that every High Road customer is happy with their purchase, so if the barrier does not perform to your satisfaction please contact me directly for a full refund at kim@talusproducts.com. Hope this is helpful. Kim, High Road Organizers
